Doctors Have Performed First Zero Gravity Surgery

French doctors carried out the world's first ever operation on a human in zero gravity today, using a specially adapted aircraft to simulate conditions in space.During a 3-hour flight from Bordeaux in southwest France, the team of surgeons and anaesthetists successfully removed a benign tumour from the forearm of a 46-year-old volunteer.

Polish doctors during World War 2 fooled Nazis into thinking that there were Typhus outbreaks, by using a harmless bacteria that gave false positives. The Nazis feared that they would contract the disease, and left the area.

For example, most marijuana smokers smoke the bud, not the leaf, of the plant. The bud contains only 33% as much tar as tobacco. In fact, marijuana is an expectorant.

At least 40 patients have received bone grafts alleged to have been stolen in America and sold to British hospitals. The patients were treated in hospitals that had bought bone tissue for use in bone grafts from an American company that is the center of allegations that more than 1,000 body parts were stolen by gangs in New York.
